The monkey's were ADORABLE, they danced very well, remembered their routines, and want to do it again.
I, on the other hand, am exhausted!!

These sorts of things you do with your girls build confidence, coordination, friendships with others and they will recall them in the future when they speak of growing up. I know it's a hassle, but it pays dividends you haven't seen yet.

They look gorgeous. My girls have their recital this weekend. I am so looking forward to the end of extra rehearsals, perfect hair and make up and all that jazz. But it's so worth it when you watch the performance.
My favorites are the real little girls "dancing".
I remember going to my niece's recital when she was 9. She was in 3 numbers (there were around 95 dance numbers, I swear) and Shannon was in 14, 52 and 87. sigh.

Kirsten - During those precious minutes your kids are on stage and smiling, all the work is 100% worth it! Good luck with your recital.
Joanie - Luckily both the kids had numbers in the 1st half of the show (which was almost 2 hours long). We still stayed for the 2nd half, because the wanted to see the rest.
