Therefore

I am a mom (although there ARE many other people who don't have time to grocery shop until 11pm). Therefore I am going to the grocery store right now - at 10:35pm.

Got back at 11:30pm - that included the grocery store staff running around making sure I had the right items for the Ralphs/Kroger Mega Match $5 off deal!

Not everything I bought was part of that deal, but 20 of the items were. The other items I still had coupons for.

Here is my haul:

Here is the length of the receipt:

And here is the amount I paid and the savings:

I am not only a mom but LOVE bargains and deals. Therefore I play the Grocery Game and don't need to find these bargains myself. I just print out the list, cut out the coupons and go shop :)

Hahhaaaaaa! I am NOT a mom. And sometimes I go to the grocery store at 10:35 PM. However, it is usually by CHOICE for me. So, score one for you. :)

Oh geez Julia - I feel for you. I try my best NOT to do that but sometimes it can not be helped. Hope it went well. :-)

I know it's weird, but I LOVE to grocery shop! I also love a bargain.

Julia, you did great! It can be nice shopping late at night without the crowds -- whatever works!

Thanks for linking up to my Let's Go Krogering! feature.

Oh, my gosh, that is great!
My husband would love it if I figured out how to do that.

How do you do that? Where do you get the coupons?

You are a brilliant shopper! I'm very good at cutting out coupons, but terrible at remembering to bring them to the store to get the discounts.

I did, however, get a tank of gas for $1.21 a gallon the other day! Our grocery store, Giant, also has gas tanks and a Giant discount card. You get a point for every dollar you spend. Those points can be redeemed for percentage off grocery bills or cents off gas. I had over 600 points, so I got 60 cents a gallon off a tank of gas!

I thought I was going to see a receipt for a total of 100 dollars b/c it's all so damn expensive now. Bravo to you.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who does my shopping late at night!
