Dumbass Customer Service!

I spent my morning swearing at DirecTV! And not just once - 4 different time with 4 different representatives.

My time frame was 8am PST - 12pm PST. By about 11am I was getting antsy.

This morning, I heard the following coming out of the mouths of different "customer service" individuals:

  • "He's only late after 1pm PST because the original call was schedule for 8am-12pm EST." Ummm, DUMBASS, that makes him EVEN MORE LATE, not LESS LATE!!!
  • "We can't get in touch with our technicians in field, only their supervisors." Ummm, DUMBASS, why can't you get the technicians phone number from the supervisor?!?!
  • "We can't give you an on-time credit at 12:48 (even though he was supposed to be there by 1pm) but can at 1:01pm." Ummm, DUMBASS, are you going to make me spend my time calling you back again?????

Customer Service, shmustimer service!

AND. MY. HUSBAND. HAD. THE. NERVE. TO. ASK. WHY. I. WAS. LETTING. THEM. GET. ME. UPSET. ALSO. HE. WENT. ON. TO. ASK. WHAT. GOOD. SWEARING. AT. THESE. PEOPLE. WOULD. DO???? ARGH, MEN!!!!

Of course, now I am watching a clear, beautiful HD picture!

We were just bitching about DireTV yesterday. I hate it when I have to call their CS department or the health insurance CS department!

My husband has learned when I am in the middle of what I call a 'melt down' he is to either listen or totally agree, with a "you are so right dear". If he can not do those two things he is to leave me alone. In other words no contradicting me during a 'melt down' or let's just say I switch gears and the wrath turns on him!

I hate waiting for repair people, you are at their mercy and boy do they know it!

Don't EVEN get me started with the t.v./cable people. Maybe your husband should handle these people next time!

Ugh... cable people... I let my husband handle it because I am way too hot headed. Also am not allowed to open any bills from Blue Cross Blue Shield!

I know how you feel, I've had similar problems with Cable companies. Why can't they just make REAL appointments, for a certain time, just like the rest of the world. The Dr. doesn't say he can see you between 8am & 12pm, so come wait in his office for a few hours until he has time for you. But of course you do have to wait there sometimes, but nothing like 3 or 4 hours!

I can so relate! Just don't ever get hughesnet.. save yourself LOTS of aony. I am so glad you have HD now!
