Don't you have to be able to laugh at yourself once in awhile?Kerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06939688757338219924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534803561112509616.post-91162532318996042822009-01-14T22:20:00.000-08:002009-01-14T22:20:00.000-08:00Mine are learning not to say things about stranger...Mine are learning not to say things about strangers (at least out loud or in English). ( I have a 20 and 17 year old) but they still like to tell me how it is. My 20 year old informed me that I might want to do something about my 'crow's feet' around the eyes.
Not so cute from a 20 year old but accurate!Lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04579411037129623539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534803561112509616.post-7682904217924082102009-01-14T11:15:00.000-08:002009-01-14T11:15:00.000-08:00Strangly, the only time I get offended is when my ...Strangly, the only time I get offended is when my son tells me how smelly my breath is. I HATE it! Of course NOW, I have to discretly brush or gargle literine when he tells me, or he gets a big kick out of it. I think he's pulling my leg most of the time, but one never knows if we ACTULLY have bad breath! Call it an obsession...Lana@The Kids Did WHAT?!https://www.blogger.com/profile/08853865655822876667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534803561112509616.post-271461016821629632009-01-14T07:07:00.000-08:002009-01-14T07:07:00.000-08:00Oh no it doesn't bother me! My only response was a laugh and "YES I DO!"

I'm kind of like your friend, they can see what's going on - fat, skinny, uncombed hair, etc. I do remind them not to say stuff like that to others, though!

My youngest son (he's 5), however, tells me EVERY SINGLE DAY that I am pretty and that I have pretty hair. I laughed and told him, I hope not.

I don't know how I would feel if he directly said something to me.
